Joshua Kyle McGaughy, the son of David McGaughy of Doniphan and Charles and Dena Bruner Toombs of Grandin, was born on July 20, 1981, at Poplar Bluff and died Nov. 11, 2002, at the age of 21. He was a construction worker for Rick Shipman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Besides his parents, survivors include one sister, Trisha Kay McGaughy of Doniphan; maternal grandmother, Anna Bruner of Naylor; two uncles, James McGaughy of Doniphan and Kelly Pippin of Naylor; two aunts, Sue Root of Doniphan and Sandy Pippin of Arizona. He is also survived by a special friend Ms. Jamie Barnicoat of Roanoke, Va. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clifford Bruner and his paternal grandparents, John and Pearl Johnson. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Neelyville. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, at Fowler-Sullivan Chapel in Neelyville with Rev. Carlton Johnson of Naylor officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Oxly. PAID
