Bobby Williams, son of the late Charlie and Dollie Skeff Williams, was born on July 12, 1947 at Maynard, AR., and died at his residence in Kennett on Nov. 8, 2002 at the age of 55. Mr. Williams was a carpenter and auto repair mechanic before his illness and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was united in marriage to Rita Campbell on January 25, 1980 at Arlington, KY. Mrs. Williams survives of the home in Kennett. Besides his wife he is survived by four sons, Bobby W. Williams, Jr., of Villa Ridge, IL.; Jackie Williams, of Cairo, IL.; Joseph Williams, of Jonesboro, IL., and Timothy Williams of Mounds, IL.; by two step-sons, Jason Russell, of Dexter; and Billy Patula, of Marion, IL.; by one step-daughter Bobbie Myers, of Bloomfield; by three brothers, Bill Williams, of Mounds, IL.; Jerry Williams, of Villa Ridge, IL.; and Don Williams, of Cardwell; by four sisters, Bernice Pyle, of Sacramento, CA.; May Morris, of Mounds, IL.; Rosemary Shown and Jane Willard, both of Kennett; also by 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Noah Williams and one sister, Pauline Ward. The visitation was at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002. Funeral services will be conducted today in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. David Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery near Bloomfield.
