Edward E. Tippen, 68, of Wenatchee, Wash., formerly of Dexter, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Central Washington Hospital. Mr. Tippen had lived in Washington and Missouri for numerous years, had worked for Alcoa, had been an orchardist with J.K. McArthur & Sons, worked as a parts manager for Tilly Equipment and Valley Tractor, and was a truck driver for the government. Survivors include his wife, Jean Tippen of Wenatchee, Wash.; a son, Edward Tippen of Wenatchee, Wash.; a daughter, Sherry Abby of Texas; a son, Gary Tippen of Wenatchee, Wash.; a brother, Buddy Tippen of Missouri; and a brother, LaRue Grim of San Francisco, Calif. A graveside service will be held at the Entiat, Washington Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002. Arrangements are by Jones & Jones Funeral Directors, Wenatchee, Wash.
