Bob L. Hartline

Robert L. ?Bob? Hartline, son of the late Fred A. Hartline and Irene Francis Hartline, was born on Jan. 12, 1927, at Bernie, Mo., and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Aug. 2, 2002, at the age of 75. Mr. Hartline was affiliated with the Second General Baptist church in Dexter, a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II, a retired truck driver with Railway Express in Pontiac, Mich., a former resident of Pontiac, Mich, and Dexter, currently residing in Puxico. Survivors include one son, Shawn Hensley of Royal Oak, Mich.; four brothers, Jerry Hartline of Hemet, Calif., Bruce Hartline of Puxico; Harold Hartline and John Hartline, both of Dexter; three sisters, Charlotte Irish of Moscow Mills, Mo., Barbara Putney of Mt. Morris, Mich., and Patsy Franklin of Montrose, Mich.; and four grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Lee; and by two sisters, Mary Hartline and Diana Low. Visitation was held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter. Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Phil Warren officiating. Interment followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery near Dexter.
