Holland A. Niederstadt, the son of the late Arthur and Laura Peters Niederstadt, was born in Fifty Six, Ark., on Nov. 2, 1922, and died at the Missouri Southern Health Care facility in Dexter on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at the age of 79. Mr. Niederstadt had lived in Dexter all his life. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was united in marriage to Doris Irene Ham in Bloomfield on May 28, 1964. She survives of the home in Dexter. Other survivors include one daughter, Laura Jones, of Baltimore, Md.; one step-daughter, Brenda Randall, of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; two step-sons, Bruce Dodd, of Lakeland, Fla., Brad Dodd, of Dexter; one sister, Sue Wismer, of Savanah, Tenn.; one step-brother, Bill Knight, of Lowndes; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one step-daughter, Barbara Cullum, and one brother, Chester Niederstadt. Friends may call after 11 a.m., on Friday, July 19 at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., on Friday, July 19 at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with Rev. Kenneth Biggs, of Dexter officiating.
