Don Wayne Donner, son of the late Joseph A. and Dorothy Hatcher Donner, was born on Jan. 17, 1944 at Manila, Ark., and died Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at 9 p.m., at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Donner was a farmer, a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. On December 10, 1987, he married Tamara Payne in Poplar Bluff. She survives of the home in Puxico. Other survivors include five sons: Joe Donner, of Clanton, Al., James Donner of Sikeston, Troy Donner, Stephen Donner and Don L. Donner, all of the home in Puxico; three sisters, Betty Jo Kennedy of Simi Valley, Ca., Juanita J. Leible of Owensboro, Ky., and Darlene Yancy of Sikeston; and two granddaughters. Aside from his parents, Mr. Donner was also preceded in death by one sister. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11a.m., Monday, July 15, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The funeral will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston with Rev. Msgr. Richard C. Rowling, pastor of St. Mary?s Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
