Thomas L. Cookemboo, of O?Fallon, son of James and Georgia Jackson , was born on November 30, 1949 at Poplar Bluff, and died June 27, 2002 at his mother?s home in Zalma. Tom was a self-employed plumbing contractor. He was first united in marriage to Margie Crites in 1970 at Zalma and later married Barbara Johnson in 1989 at Zalma. Survivors include: His mother, Georgia (Jackson) Cookemboo of Zalma, two daughters; April Bond of Bloomfield and jennifer Cookemboo of Kinder, one Step - Son; Chris Simpson of Bloomfield, one brother; Larry Cookemboo of Portageville, one sister; Cathy Swift of Delta and four grandchildren. His father, James and one brother proceded him in death. Visitation was held Friday June 28, from 5:30 - 7 p.m., Funeral Service were held saturday, June 29, at 11a.m. at the Morgan funeral Chapel in Advance, Interment will follow at the Morgan Memorial Park Cemetery in Advance with Morgan Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
