Rosetta Cox

Rosetta Cox of Malden, daughter of George Kean and Lucille (Johnson) Kean, was born on Febuary 21, 1929 in Greenville, and died at her residence in Malden, on June 24, 2002. She was United in marriage on Oct 28, 1943 to Arvel Elmer Cox, who besides her parents, preceded her in death on September 9, 1991. Mrs. Cox was a retired seamstress at Gossard Garment Manufacturing, and was a member of the Baptist faith Church. Surviving are; two sons, Dewayne and Ronnie Cox of Malden; two daughters, Peggy Cooper of Chesterfield and Shirley Brawner of Ballwin; eight brothers, James Kean of Malden, Sonny, Tom, Jim, Joe, Ted, Tiny and Darrin Kean; four sisters Wanda Marler, Ellen Masson, Ruth Oldham, and Loretta Bowling; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one great-grandson. Visitation was held Tuesday June 25, at 6 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, The Funeral Services were conducted by Rev. Dawsey Lee Brown Wednsday, June 26, at 10 a.m. at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, Interment followed at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden with Landess Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
