Lois Warren Shain, 73, Festus, died June 6, 2002, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug, 9, 1928, in Arceola, Mo, the daughter of Ivery and Inez (Cox) Warren. She was a credit adjuster for the Union Electric Co. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Festus-Crystal city, Eastern Star and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. She is survived by her husband, John ?Bill? Shain; two daughters, Suzanne Collier of Mableton, Ga., and Patricia (Steve) Nelle of Crystal City; a son, John (Donna) Shain Jr. of Festus; four sisters, Reva Faulkner of Patterson, Mo., Elmira (Robert) Lynn of Coldwater, Mo., Virginia (Charles) Fulbright of Imperial and Nadine (Jerry) Garland of Herculaneum; and seven grandsons, Richard and Shawn Collier, Geoffrey, Jon Paul and Alexander Nelle and John and Matthew Shain. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Earl and Marvin Warren; and a grandson, Christopher Collier. Funeral services were conducted June 10 from Vinyard Funeral Home to First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Margie Woods officiating. Internment is at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the church building fund. PAID
