Jesse M. Swarm, son of the late Archie M. Swarm and Agnes John Swarm was born on March 11, 1922, at Idabel, Okla., and died at his residence in Bell City on June 4, 2002, at the age of 80. Mr. Swarm was a former agriculture laborer, a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II, and was a resident of Bell City. He was united in marriage to the former Cora Lee in 1958 at Phoenix, Ariz., and she preceded him in death on Sept. 16, 1995. Surviving are one daughter, Ruth Alexander of Tyler, Texas; two stepsons, Dallas Dinkins of Bell City and Delmar Dinkins of Las Vegas, Nev.; two half brothers, James Swarm of Lemore, Calif., and Doyle Swarm of Reedley, Calif.; two half sisters, Grace Huff of Traver, Calif., and Addie Huff of Fresno, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, June 11, 2002, in the Creighton Memorial Chapel in Kingsburg, Calif. Interment followed in the Kingsburg Cemetery.
