Marlene Brown

Marlene Brown of Advance, the daughter of the late Charles and Doris Orrell Clark, was born May 24, 1936 in Ogden, Utah and died Saturday, May 4, 2002 at her residence in Advance, at the age of 65. Marlene worked as a secretary for the Southern Baptist Association in California for many years. She attended the United Methodist Church in Advance. On Aug. 30, 1953 she was united in marriage to Jack Brown in San Diego, Calif., he survives of the home. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Richard Brown of Ft. Worth, Texas and Matthew Brown of Banning, Calif.; by one daughter, Terry Lynn Schleiger of Temecula, Calif.; by one brother, Gary Orrell of Calif.; by two sisters, Jodie Salas of Utah and Renee Orrell of Calif.; and six grandchildren. There will be a memorial service conducted Saturday, May 11 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Advance with Rev. Tom Zych officiating. Morgan Funeral Home of Advance is in charge of arrangements.
