Laura Faye Anderson Churchill Giddens, the daughter of the late Floyd and Alta Wilfong Anderson, died Sunday, March 17, 2002 in Lancaster, Calif., at the age of 71. She was a long time resident of Lancaster, Calif. and a former resident of Dexter. Survivors include four sons, Alan Lee Churchill of Orange County, Calif., Lowell Thomas Churchill of Malibu, Calif., Bradley Eugene Churchill of Palmdale, Calif. and Thomas Author Giddens of Newport, Calif.; one daughter, Patricia Ann Vasquez of Sacramento, Calif.; one brother, Dale Anderson of Wappapello; one sister, Bonnie Williamson of Dexter; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lowell Thomas Churchill and Thomas Author Giddens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2 after 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Andrew Lovins of Dexter officiating. Interment will follow in the Harper Cemetery in Aid with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
