Maude M. Reynolds, the daughter of the late Charlie Kines and Hattie Strauthers Kines, was born April 11, 1909 in Shannon County, Mo. and died at Cypress Point Nursing Center in Dexter on March 27, 2002, at the age of 92. Mrs. Reynolds was a homemaker and a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Leasburg, Mo. for over 35 years where she lived before moving to Dexter in 1995. She was united in marriage to John L. Reynolds on Oct. 20, 1956 in St. Louis. Mr. Reynolds preceded her in death on June 21, 1976. Survivors include two sons, Charles E. Puckett of New Florence, Mo. and William L. Puckett of Pevely, Mo.; one daughter, Virginia L. Fisher of Dexter; one step-daughter, Joyce Ward of Blythe, Calif.; two sisters, Daisy Carr of Winona and Velma Mooney of Washington, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Howard R. Puckett of Cleburne, Texas; by one brother, William Lee Kines of Fort Collins, Colo.; by two sisters, Thelma West of Leasburg, Mo. and Goldie Williams of Ellington, Mo. Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home in Cuba on Friday, March 29 from 5 - 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Leasburg on Saturday, March 30 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jim Delacourt officiating. Interment will follow in the Lea Cemetery with Britton Funeral Home of Cuba in charge of arrangements.
