Dora Staats

Dora Lee Staats, daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Fife Cook, was born on November 11, 1921 at Arbor and died at the Parkland Health Center in Farmington on April 29, 2003.Dora had been a homemaker. Dora and Homer F. Staats were united in marriage on August 31, 1937 at Marble Hill, and he survives of the home. Other survivors include, two sons, Roger Staats of Farmington; and Larry Staats of Park Hills; one daughter, Virginia Lee Staudingen of Kansas City, Mo; one sister, Oma Stone of Peoria, Ill.; ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers; three sisters; and one grandson, Tony Staats. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2003, at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 3, 2003 at 11 a.m., at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Bro. Dan Sitze officiating. Interment will follow in the Beatty Cemetery near Advance with Morgan Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
