Mr. Joe Pollock, 63, of Jefferson City, died Monday, April 21, 2003, at the Capital Region Medical Center. Mr. Pollock was born April 8, 1940, at McKenzie, Tenn., the son of William H. and Margaret A. Belew Pollock, both deceased. He was married on April 2, 1966, at Gleason, Tenn., to Marianne Margrave who survives at the home. Mr. Pollock was a 1958 graduate of Dexter High School and a 1965 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a B.S. in Education. He served in the United States Navy from 1959 until 1963. Mr. Pollock was employed by Sperry New Holland, later as the district manager with the Filper Magnuson Company, and lastly was employed by Associated Industries of Missouri. A resident of the Jefferson City area since 1983, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a past member of the Daybreak Optomist Club. Other survivors include: one son, Brad Pollock of St. Louis; and one daughter, Amanda Pollock Swanstrom of Oak Grove. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2003, in the Freeman Chapel with the Rev. Jerrol Boehmer officiating. Graveside service and interment with military honors will be conducted at Riverview Cemetery.
