B. Fitzgerald

Bulah Barnett Fitzgerald, the daughter of the late Claude and Lucy Woods Little, was born in Parma on April 7, 1920 and died at her home in Middle Brook on March 13, 2003, at the age of 82 years. Mrs. Fitzgerald had lived in the Morehouse and Sikeston areas before moving to Middle Brook in 1993. She was retired from Vickers Electric in St. Louis and was a member of the Morehouse Assembly of God Church. On July 26, 1937 she married William Taft Barnett, he preceeded her in death on February 20, 1991. On November 21, 1992, she was married to Leslie "Ken" Fitzgerald in Morehouse. Surviving are her husband, Leslie "Ken" Fitzgerald of Middle Brook, two brothers, Troy Little of Morehouse and Leo Little of East Parry; two sisters, Vela Hankins of Morehouse and Mary Hicks of Florissant; two step-sons, Robert Fitzgerald of Middle Brook and Tom Fitzgerald of St. Peters; one step-daughter, Geraldine Meyers of Wood River, Ill. 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Taft Udel "Dale" Barnett on March 4, 1975 and one daughter Delores Costella in 1939. Friends may call on Sunday, March 16, 2003, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Home in Dexter. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
