Richard George Bath, son of the late Herman George Bath and Margaret Marie Ritz Bath, was born on April 2, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio, and departed his life in Milledgeville, Ga., on Saturday, March 8, 2003, at the age of 65. Mr. Bath belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. After leaving the military, he worked as a consultant in the apparel industry for a number of years before starting RBA Manufacturing Company in Malden in 1982. He was a member of the Father Slay #6515 Council of the Knights of Columbus, a fourth degree member of the Paul A. Clark Assembly #1773 Council of Knights of Columbus in Poplar Bluff, and a member of the American Legion in Malden. He was united in marriage to Barbara Louise Fox on June 7, 1958, at St. Rose Church in Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Bath survives of the home in Dexter. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Richard George Bath, Jr. of Lee's Summit; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Hance Jaquett of Seaville, N.J., Ellie and Steve Miller of Orange Park, Fla., and Margaret and Marc Watson of Roxbury, Wis.; one brother and sister-in-law, Raymond J. and Adele Bath of Allentown, N.J.; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Frank Mucklo of Lakewood, Ohio; and seven grandchildren. Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2003. A rosary service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2003, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter with Father John Sheley officiating. Interment will follow at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
