Harrison L. Manley, son of the late Audie Lee Manley and Bernice Mott Manley, was born on July 19, 1929, at Sikeston and died in the St. Joe Manor at Bonne Terre on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at the age of 73. Mr. Manley was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Potosi and worked at the International Shoe Factory in Potosi. He was united in marriage to Helen Lucille Lape on Dec. 30, 1949, at Piggott, Ark. Mrs. Manley preceded him in death on March 29, 1989. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ellen Jomac Duniphan and Nellie Mae Rodgers. Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Bloomfield Gamble of Nagadoches, Texas, Judy Daniels of Hillsboro, and Rebecca West of Jackson, Tenn. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Father John Sheley officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
