Ilene Weymouth, daughter of the late Rhesa and Ruth Burns Dick, was born at Granite City, Ill., on June 12, 1929, and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at the age of 73. Mrs. Weymouth had spent most of her life in the Granite City, Ill., area but had been a resident of Scott City the past four years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City. Mrs. Weymouth was married to Charles Weymouth, Jr., and he preceded her in death. One son Charles Weymouth III and two sisters also preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Bruce Weymouth of Cape Girardeau and Eric Weymouth of Roodhouse, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside rites will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, at the Lick Creek Cemetery near Bloomfield with Rev. Dennis Bell officiating. Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of all arrangements.
