Glenna Cline

Glenna W. Cline, daughter of the late Charles William Houchins and Tennie Tate Houchins was born on February 27, 1944, in Portageville and died on January 9, 2002 at the Missouri Delta Medical center in Sikeston. Mrs. Houchins was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. On May 28, 1960, she married Harold Vernon Cline, who survives of the home. Besides her mother, Mr. Cline is survived by: two daughters, Glenna Juanita Moore and Roberta Ann Swilley, both of Sikeston; four brothers, Larry Houchins, Frank Houchins and Charles "Bud" Houchins, all of Essex and Gary Houchins of Bloomfield; three sisters, Ann Oliver of Sikeston, Jo Copeland of Morely and Bonnie Sue Byrd of Benton; and four grandchildren. In addition to her father, Mrs. Cline was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Kaye Cline, in 1980. Friends may call Friday, Jan. 11, from 5-8 p.m., at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. The Rev. John Bouldry pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
