Wilma Lee Middleton, daughter of Willene Kimbrel Clark, of Dexter and the late J. L. Simpson, Jr., was born on Oct. 21, 1946 at Dexter and departed this life at Miner, Mo., on January 8, 2002 at the age of 55. Mrs. Middleton was a member of the Father's Arms Fellowship at Scott City, had attended Bloomfield High School and was a former hairdresser in Bloomfield and Dexter. She was united in marriage to Gary Middleton on Nov. 05, 1982 at Advance. Mr. Middleton survives of the home in Scott City. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons; Ron Edwards 2nd, and his wife Sheila of Dexter, Parish Lee Edwards and FiancÚ Jessica Johnston of Cape Girardeau; by her mother, Willene Clark of Dexter; by one brother, Jerry Leland Simpson of Dexter; by two sisters, Glenda Sue Johnson, of Dexter and Patty Musgrave of Bloomfield; by four grandchildren, Allan Duncan, Justin Duncan, Chelsea Edwards and Devon Richard Ray. Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, 2002 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with David Hardin and Rev. Karen Oldham officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery. PAID
