Eloise Trammell

Eloise Trammell, daughter of the late Vick A. Hill and Iona Smith Hills, was born Jan. 25, 1926 at Dexter and departed this life at the residence of her son in Columbia, Missouri, on Jan. 4, 2002, at the age of 75. Mrs. Trammell attended the First Baptist Church in Dexter, was a former science teacher in the Dexter Public School System and a resident of Dexter. She was united in marriage to Lee W. Trammell on May 29, 1947 in Dexter. Mr. Trammell preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1994.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Lee W. Trammell 3rd and Martha of Columbia, Mo., Gary and Resa Trammell of Dexter, and Vic and Kathy Trammell of Broken Arrow, Okla.; by one sister, Ruth Smith of Arvada, Colo., by ten grandchildren: Mike Trammell, Jeff Trammell, Andrew Trammell, Tyler Trammell, Victoria Trammell, Hill Trammell, John Trammell, Virginia Trammell, Courtney Foushee and Justin Foushee.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thurston Hill and Victor Hill. Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Dismuke officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery. paid
