Juanita South

Juanita South of Fisk was born Sept. 24, 1926 at Commerce, Mo. and died Jan. 1, 2002 at Fountainbleau Lodge of Cape Girardeau at the age of 75. Mrs. South was a homemaker and she had been a resident of Fisk since 1980. She was united in marriage to William South on Jan. 18, 1947 in Corinth, Miss., he survives of the home. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Randy South and James South, both of Fisk, and James South of Dexter; by four daughters, Judy Aslin of Jackson, Linda Chitwood of Ellington, Mo., Janet South of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., and Mary Meisel of Jefferson City; by seven brothers, Frank Stuckey and Charles Stuckey, both of Washington, Joe Stuckey of Benton, Paul Stuckey of Cape Girardeau, John Stuckey of Holts Summit, Mo., Harold Stuckey of Rockford, Ill. and Jim Stuckey of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Mildred Schwitz of Benton and Shae Pack of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk on Thursday, Jan. 3 at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4 at the White-Sanders Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in Ash Hill Cemetery at Fisk with White-Sanders Funeral Home of Fisk in charge of arrangements.
