Thelma Mae Wamble, the daughter of the late Almond and Nancy Robinson Martin, was born in Stoddard County on May 6, 1915 and died at the Rivergate Healthcare Center in Riverview, Mich. on Nov. 26, 2001, at the age of 86. Mrs. Wamble was a former resident of Dexter, having lived in Michigan for several years, and a resident of Lincoln Park, Mich. at the present time. She was a member of the Ecorse Baptist Church in Ecorse, Mich. She was united in marriage to Max V. Wamble. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1986. Surviving are one son, Danny James Wamble of Lincoln Park, Mich.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Melvin and Elvin Martin, both of Washington; three sisters, Leatha O'Dell and Lois Davis, both of Dexter and Louise Brady of Bloomfield. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Thelma Maxine Lotti on May 21, 2000 and by three brothers, Raymond, Cecil and Elvis Martin. Visitation will be held at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter on Friday, Nov. 30 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
