Sherry Tilley

Sherry J. Tilley, the daughter of Patty and J.W. Tilley, was born in Dexter on April 21, 1973 and died at her home in Bloomfield on Nov. 17, 2001, at the age of 28. Sherry had resided in Bloomfield all her life. She attended the Assembly of God Church at Birds Corner. She is survived by her parents, Patty Tilley of Bloomfield and J.W. Tilley of Bloomfield; by one brother, John Tilley of Bloomfield; by three sisters, Mary Jane Tilley, her twin sister, and Tammy Starnes, both of Bloomfield, and Martha Starnes of Dexter; by her grandmother, Evelyn Crowell of Dexter; by five nieces, Jessica Starnes, Melinda Tilley, Paige Snelson, Allison Snelson and Amanda Tilley; by two nephews, Mitchell Tilley and Brent Starnes. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jack Crowell and her maternal grandparents, J.H. and Vevie Tilley. Visitation was held at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home at Dexter from 5 - 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Loyd Latham of Sikeston officiating. Interment followed in the Bloomfield Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of all arrangements. PAID
