A. Wayne Findley, the son of the late Alfred L. and Pearl King Findley was born in Puxico on Nov. 22, 1928 and died at his home in Puxico on Nov. 10, 2001, at the age of 72. Mr. Findley had lived all his life in the Puxico and Poplar Bluff areas. He was a retired Missouri State Highway Patrol Commercial Vehicle Inspector, was affiliated with the Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Signal Corps. On July 29, 1972, he was united in marriage to Beverly Siler in Puxico, she survives of the home. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Ronnie D. Stuart of Wappapello; by two grandchildren; by two brothers, F.A. Findley of Poplar Bluff and Ray Dean Findley of Columbia; and by one sister, Wanda Parker of Columbia. Visitation will be held at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico on Tuesday, Nov. 13 after 5 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with Rev. Ray Placher and Elder Jerry Park, both of Puxico, officiating. Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of all arrangements.
