Lottie May Ellerbrook, the daughter of the late Isaac Farmer and Sarah Tennessee Hopkins Burch, was born in Blackford, Ky.. on Jan. 12, 1904 and died at the Sells Nursing Home in Matthews on Sept. 19, 2001, at the age of 97. Mrs. Ellerbrook had lived in Matthews and LaValle before moving to Parma in 1956. She had worked at Morgans Dry Goods in Parma and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church in Parma. She was preceded in death by eight brothers, Hiram, William Robert, Lynn, Johnnie, Charles, Tom, James and Robert Burch; and three sisters, Ella Walker, Agnes Frances Burch, and Nermie Alma Burch. Surviving are three sons, Vernon Johnson of Parma, George Ellerbrook of Weatherford, Texas, and Jackie Elllerbrook of Bagdad, Ky.; two daughters, Doris Allen of Humbodlt, Tenn. and Marcella Hon of Blytheville, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma on Friday, Sept. 21 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Parma on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Tim McCanless of Kewanee officiating. Interment will be held at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of all arrangements.
