Thomas Kizer

Thomas F. Kizer, the son of the late James and Allie Clark Kizer, was born in Ballard County, Ky. on Dec. 28, 1915 and died at the Ridgeview Nursing Home in Malden on Sept. 10, 2001, at the age of 85. Mr. Kizer was a retired farmer and had lived in Risco for many years and was a winter resident of Crystal River, Fla. On Oct. 7, 1939 he was united in marriage to Laura Mae Cato in Piggott, Ark. She preceded him in death on Feb. 15, 1987. Surviving are two sons, Charles Kizer of Clovis, N.M. and Thomas Kizer of Farmington Mills, Mich.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Due to the traveling conditions, there is a tentative visitation set for Wednesday, Sept. 12 at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma. Call 573-357-4513 for details. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden. Interment will follow with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of all arrangements.
