Bonnie Jean Hisaw, the daughter of the late Claude and Mable Way Townsend, was born in Kinder on July 14, 1937, and died at the Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff on Sunday, May 25, 2003, at the age of 65. Mrs. Hisaw had lived in the Puxico area all of her life. She was a 1955 graduate of Puxico High School and worked as a seamstress at Columbia Sportswear in Chaffee. She attended the Brown General Baptist and the Kinder Chapel Churches. On June 23, 1956, she was married to Bobby Hisaw in Gipsy. Surviving are her husband, Bobby Hisaw of Puxico; two daughters, Sherry (Cecil) Daniel and Mary Hisaw, both of Puxico; one grandson; two step-grandchildren; two brothers, Terry Townsend of Zalma and Bill Townsend of Brownsville, Ky. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. today, May 27, 2003, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with the Rev. Johnny Buttry and Rev. Ray Placher, both of Puxico, officiating. Interment will follow in the Fagan Cemetery near Puxico with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
