Minnie McGuire

Minnie Catherine McGuire, the daughter of David and Annie Beaton House, was born March 21, 1917, at Hot Springs, Ark., and died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at the Malden Nursing Center at the age of 86. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Malden. On Jan. 17, 1964, she was united in marriage to Morris McGuire, who survives of the home. Survivors include her husband, Morris McGuire of Malden; three daughters, Dorothy Morgan of Dexter, Jan Boyd of Arnold, and Kathy Boyle of Bernie; one son, Wayne Baker of Malden; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Hannah Jones of Campbell and Maudie Benton of Bloomfield; and two brothers, Elton House of Marshfield and Thomas House of Poplar Bluff. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Loughary, Nadine House and Lucille McElrath; and two brothers, Eugene and Sidney House. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2003, at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2003, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
