Ralph W. Burnett, son of the late Thomas Clarence Burnett and Tiny Augusta Bollinger Burnett was born on March 30, 1930 at Grayridge and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare on Thursday, June 5, 2003 at the age of 73. Mr. Burnett was a member of the Faith Fellowship Church in Dexter, a retired carpenter and a resident of Dexter. He was united in marriage to Mary Louise Snider on July 3, 1948 at Piggott, Ark. Mrs. Burnett survives of the home in Dexter. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons: Tim Burnett of Dexter and Adrian Burnett of Jonesboro, Ark.; three daughters, Karen Oldham, Sue Davidson and Kandie Lee, all of Dexter; one sister, Elvira Walker of Dexter; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ralph David Burnett; three brothers, Barrett Burnett, Fred Burnett and Boyd Burnett; and four sisters, Clara Burnett, Dottie Mae Burnett, Louise Orne and Jewell Kinder. Visitation was held from 5 - 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 7 at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2003 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Karen Oldham officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
