Cases presented, decisions issued during recent Stoddard County Law Day

The following summary of the cases presented during the criminal docket in the Circuit Court of Stoddard County, Missouri, Division I, during the recent Law Day :

Rex Aikman:Charged with Class B felony of attempted manufacture of methamphetamine. Defendant appeared for arraignment and entered a plea of guilty. With consent of court, defendant waived presentence investigation. After review of Court file, defendant sentenced to nine years in the Missouri State Penitentiary. (Drug Task Force)

Justin Bell: Charged with Class C felony of stealing. Defendant appeared for arraignment and entered a plea of not guilty. Case set for trial August 29, 2003. (SCSO)

Carl Bien, Jr.:Charged with Class D felony of criminal non-support. Defendant ordered to appear July 21, 2003 for arraignment. (PA)
Brian Blage:Charged with Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance. Defendant appeared for sentencing. After review of presentence investigation report prepared by Board of Probation & Parole, imposition of sentence was suspended and defendant was placed on supervised probation for a term of three years. Eric Blauert:Charged with Class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Defendant appeared, withdrew his previous plea of not guilty and entered a plea of guilty. With consent of court, defendant waived presentence investigation. After review of Court file, defendant sentenced to ten years in the Missouri State Penitentiary. (Drug Task Force)
Tonya Boner:Charged with Class C felonies of involuntary manslaughter and assault in the second degree. Case set for pretrial conference. No matters being presented, the conference was concluded. (MSHP)

Kenneth Bright: Charged with Class C felony of tampering in the first degree. Defendant appeared for arraignment and entered a plea of not guilty. Case set for trial August 29, 2003. (SCSO)

Jeannette Bunn: Charged with violation of the terms and conditions of her probation. Defendant appeared and admitted the violations. After review of the probation violation report prepared by the Board of Probation & Parole, probation of defendant was revoked and defendant was sentenced to the Missouri State Penitentiary for a term of five years. Leslie Burns:Charged with Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance. Defendant appeared for sentencing. After review of presentence investigation report prepared by the Board of Probation & Parole, imposition of sentence was suspended and defendant was placed on supervised probation for a term of three years with special conditions relative to residential family counseling treatment. (SCSO) Paul Clark: Charged with Class C felony of distribution of a controlled substance. Defendant ordered to appear July 21, 2003 for purpose of plea. (SCSO)

Michael Dellinger: Charged with misdemeanor of trespass. Defendant appeared, withdrew his previous plea of not guilty and entered a plea of guilty. With consent of Court, defendant waived presentence investigation. After review of Court file, imposition of sentence was suspended and defendant was placed on probation for a term of two years with special conditions regarding contact with the victims of his criminal conduct. Dustin Dews:Charged with Class C felony of sexual abuse. Defendant appeared for arraignment and entered a plea of guilty. Board of Probation & Parole ordered to conduct presentence investigation. Case set for sentencing August 20, 2003. (PA)

Nicole Ferguson: Charged with violation of the terms and conditions of her probation. Defendant appeared and admitted the violations. After review of the probation violation report prepared by the Board of Probation & Parole, probation of defendant was revoked and defendant was sentenced to Missouri State Penitentiary for a term of five years. Patrick Gilbert:Charged with felonies including the Class B felony of assault in the first degree and Class A felony of armed criminal action. Case set for pretrial conference. There being no matters presented the conference was concluded. (SCSO)

Earl Grimm: Charged with Class D felony of passing bad checks. Case set for appearance to monitor defendant's restitution payments. Defendant presented money orders as previously directed for payments during this status period. Defendant ordered to appear September 17 for appearance to continue restitution payment monitoring. Chris Hale: Charged with misdemeanors of trespass and peace disturbance. Defendant appeared, withdrew his previous pleas of not guilty and entered pleas of guilty. With consent of Court, defendant waived presentence investigation. After review of Court file, imposition of sentence was suspended and defendant was placed on supervised probation for a term of two years with special conditions relative to contact with the victims of his criminal conduct. Linda Higgenbotham:Charged with Class C felony of forgery. Defendant appeared for arraignment and entered a plea of guilty. With consent of Court, defendant waived presentence investigation. After review of Court file, defendant was sentenced to the Missouri State Penitentiary. Imposition of sentence was suspended and defendant was placed on supervised probation for a term of five years with special conditions relative to payment of restitution to victims for her criminal conduct. Jesse McElroy:Charged with Class A felony of assault in the first degree. Defendant appeared for arraignment and entered a plea of not guilty. Case set for trial October 6, 2003. (SCSO)
Jeff McFall:Charged with Class C felony of stalking. Case set for sentencing. At request of defendant, sentencing continued to August 6, 2003. (Dexter)

Rosanne Metcalf: Charged with Class A misdemeanor of assault in the third degree. Defendant appeared for arraignment and entered a plea of guilty. With consent of Court, defendant waived presentence investigation. After review of Court file, imposition of sentence was suspended and defendant was placed on probation for a term of two years. Carri Morales:Charged with Class C felony of forgery. Defendant appeared for arraignment and entered a plea of not guilty. Cases set for trial September 26, 2003. (Bloomfield PD, Advance PD)
Jeff Pruett:Charged with Class B felony of attempted manufacture of methamphetamine. Defendant appeared for arraignment and entered a plea of guilty. Justin Walley:Charged with violation of the terms and conditions of his probation. Defendant appeared and admitted the violations. After review of the probation violation report prepared by the Board of Probation & Parole, defendant continued on probation with added condition defendant not to enter Stoddard County, Missouri. Terry Wheetley: Charged with misdemeanor of operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner. Defendant appeared for assignment of misdemeanor for jury trial. Case assigned to Hon. Joe Z. Satterfield. Defendant ordered to appear before Judge Satterfield July 31, 2003 for purpose of selection of trial date. (MSHP)

Rebakah Williams: Charged with Class C felony of forgery. Defendant appeared for arraignment and entered a plea of guilty. With consent of Court, defendant waived presentence investigation. After review of Court file, defendant was sentenced to the Missouri State Penitentiary for a term of seven years. Execution of sentence was suspended and defendant was placed on supervised probation for a term of five years with special conditions relative to payment of restitution to victims for her criminal conduct.
