Loise Learue

Loise Payne Learue, daughter of the late Leo and Violet Pearman Parks, was born in Risco on September 3, 1925, and died at the Progressive Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. on Friday, July 18, 2003, at the age of 77. Mrs. Learue was a former resident of Sikeston and Scott City, and had lived in Las Vegas, Nev. for the past six years. On October 11, 1956, she was married to Warnie L. Payne, and he preceded her in death on March 25, 1970. Mrs. Learue is survived by one son, Steve Cob of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Marion Parks of Poplar Bluff and Jimmy Parks of Delta; two sisters, Cordell Mitchell of Chaffee and Frances White of Owensboro, Kent.; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2003. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at 1 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Cliff Day of Chaffee officiating. Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
