Willene W. Cossiart

Willene W. Cossiart, daughter of the late William B. and Cora Wilkerson Warran was born on September 23, 1918 in Stoddard County and died in her home in Cape Girardeau on Saturday, June 21, 2003 at the age of 84. Mrs. Cossiart worked at Elder Manufacturing in Bloomfield and was a member of the First Christian Church in Cape Girardeau. She was married to Robert J. Cossiart on May 11, 1937 in Bloomfield. Mr. Cossiart preceded her in death on May 3, 1991. Survivors include: one son, Stephen R. Cossiart of Memphis, Tenn.; one daughter, Barbara Underwood of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers. Visitation was held on Monday, June 23, 2003 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at the Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau with Dr. David Felty officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
