Betty Jo Toutcheque, daughter of Lowell Lewis and Mary Ellis Massingill, was born at Poplar Bluff on April 13, 1968, and went to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at her home in Clute, Texas, at the age of 35. She was a former resident of Bloomfield and Dexter. She had managed Prairie 203 Video Store in Bloomfield for 10 years until moving to Texas in April of 2002. She was a great lover of dogs and a member of the National Humane Society. On April 21, 2002, she was married to Sid Toutcheque, he survives of the home in Clute, Texas. Other survivors include her father, Lowell "Bud" Lewis of Puxico; her mother and step-father, Mary and Bob Massingill of Dexter; two sisters, Rhonda Lewis-Gromer of Dexter and Sherry Cowgur of Seneca; one step-daughter, Joleana Toutcheque and one step-son, Jeremy Toutcheque, both of Clute, Texas; two nephews, Derek Cowgur of Joplin, and Jake Gromer of Dexter; her father and mother-in-law, Donald and Barbara Toutcheque; three brothers-in-law, Donnie Toutcheque, Jr., Jeff and his wife Jodi Toutcheque, and Larry and his wife Mauri Toutcheque, all of Clute, Texas. Other relatives and many friends survive to mourn her passing. Friends may call at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at 1 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Donald Toutcheque officiating. Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Clute, Texas, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003. PAID
