Daisy L. Summers, 69, of Zalma, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 28, 1934, in Hiram, the daughter of Joseph and Carrie Hood Hancock.
In 1954 she and Paul W. Rohan were united in marriage, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1992. On July 26, 1974, she and Delmer Summers were united in marriage in Kennett, and he survives.
Mrs. Summers was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Rohan of Clubb, Larry Rohan of Zalma, and Gary Rohan of Puxico; four daughters, Janet Moore of Lowndes, Sandra Rohan and Kathy Jackson, both of Zalma, and Paulette Rohan of Hiram; four brothers, Henry Hancock of Murphysboro, Ill., Bill Hancock of Hiram, Jerry Hancock of Clubb, and Robert Hancock of Greenville; four sisters, Wretha Huggins and Nelda Matkins, both of Fredericktown, Glenda Hancock of Greenville, and Doreen Allen of St. Louis; 22 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Norman Hancock.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral services were conducted at 12 p.m. at the Liley Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Ray Green officiating.
Interment followed in the Cowan Cemetery near Hiram.
