Popcorn Time

It's popcorn time again for the Boy Scouts! Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in the Dexter area will be knocking on doors beginning today, selling popcorn as thier annual fundraiser. According to Cub Scout Popcorn Chairman, Bennetta Harrelson, local Boy Scouts use this annual fundraiser to pay for their beltloops, pins, patches and other advancements they earn throughout the year. Profits also subsidize the summer Day Camp fees for scouts attending. The Boy Scouts have brought back some of the old favorites such as gormet carmel corn with almonds and pecans, choclatey carmel crunch, microwave and the old-fashioned popping corn.
