Juanita Van Hooser, a resident of Pryor, Okla., was born Nov. 30, 1916, in Aid and died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at Salina, Okla., at the age of 86.

Mrs. Van Hooser was a member of the First Christian Church in McAlester, Okla.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Cross of Pryor, Okla., Janet Sherbet of Cleveland, Ala., and Karen Van Hooser of Santa Fe, N.M.; one sister, Shirley Spinks of McAlester, Okla.; one brother, Leon Larsen of Dexter; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Van Hooser; her parents, Leman and Earle (Almond) Larsen; one infant daughter, Delores June Van Hooser; one son, Dennis Allen Van Hooser; two sisters, Theresa Edwards and Katherine Edwards; one brother, James Larsen; and one great-grandchild, Christie Dee Carroll.

Memorial services were held Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at 3 p.m. at Stephens Memorial Chapel in Pryor, Okla.
