Beeson-Woollums become husband and wife

Marcia (Mays) Beeson of Sikeston, daughter of Emogean Mays and the late "Dick" Mays, and Mark Woollums, son of Pauline Novy and the late J.L. Woollums of Alton, Ill., were married Oct. 4, 2003, at 5 p.m. at First Christian Church in Dexter. Rev. Vaughn Wright officiated at the service.

The prelude music was by Kenny G "Breathless", "The Wedding March", and Celine Dion, "Have You Ever Been in Love?"

The bride was escorted by her son, Anthony Beeson of Sikeston.

The maid of honor was Carlene Tinsley, friend of the bride.

The best man was Ray Woollums, brother of the bridegroom.

Dexter Elks Lodge banquet room was the location of the wedding reception where the music was by Vertigo. Servers were Tabatha Lang, niece of the bride from Bloomfield; Amy Beeson, daughter-in-law of the bride from Sikeston. The food was coordinated by Carlois Holmes of Bloomfield.

The guest book attendant was Katelyn Lang, great-niece of the bride and Amber Gramasch.

Pictures were taken by Nathan Mays, who is the brother of the bride.

A wedding trip to Branson and Bull Shoals Lake was planned by the couple, who will be making their home at 13913 Carrie Street in Dexter.

The bride is employed at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Continu-Care Home Health.

The bridegroom is employed by Liberty Township in Dexter.
