Courtney Paige Nelson, the daughter of Charles Aaron Nelson and Mary Jane Caldwell, was born in Sikeston on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, and died at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston on Oct. 29, 2003.

Surviving are her parents, Charles Aaron Nelson and Mary Jane Caldwell of Dexter; paternal grandparents, Ed and Debbie Fleming of Dexter and Michael Stacey Nelson of Lemore, Calif.; maternal grandparents, Dallas and Linda Caldwell of Dexter and Doris Phillips of Hobbs, N.M.; paternal great-grandparents, Fern Nelson and Charles Nelson of Lemore, Calif., and Lee and Juanita Smith of Avenal, Calif.; maternal great-grandmother Phyllis Murphy of Dexter; paternal great-great-grandmother, Ruby Lee Smith of Avenal, Calif.; and maternal great-great-grandmother, Mary Davis of Dexter.

Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, in the Hagy Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Ward of Essex officiating.

Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
