Mildred Renfro

Mildred Louise Renfro, daughter of the late Eugene Lane and Ida Mae Cole Lane, was born on Aug. 7, 1933, at Essex and died in the Southeast Hospital at Cape Girardeau on Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at the age of 70.

Mrs. Renfro was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church at Pollard, Ark., the hostess at Bill's Cafe in Bloomfield and the former hostess at the Hickory Log Restaurant in Dexter.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Bruce Renfro and Leo Duane Renfro, both of Dexter; two daughters, Marilyn Diane Aguilar of Waco, Texas, and Roberta Gregory of Dexter; one brother, Delmar Lane of Dexter; two sisters, Beulah Brown of Poplar Bluff and Lela Dickerson of Dexter; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at the Essex Cemetery with Rev. Clifford Wray officiating.
