Anna Chancellor, daughter of the late Louis Aubrey Boatright and Grace Rackleff Boatright, was born on Nov. 20, 1909, at Nevada, and died at the home of her daughter at Bartlett, Tenn., on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at the age of 94.

Mrs. Chancellor was the former children's librarian at the Dexter Library, a former member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, a current member of the Bartlett Baptist Church, a homemaker, a former resident of Dexter currently residing in Bartlett, Tenn.

She was united in marriage to Max E. Chancellor on Dec. 21, 1932, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1964.

Survivors include one daughter, Judy Ellis of Bartlett, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Chancellor.

Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at the Dexter Cemetery with Rev. Don Kennedy officiating.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter was in charge of arrangements.
