Marvin Scott was born in Mississippi on Jan. 20, 1927, and died on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter at the age of 76.

Mr. Scott was a former resident of Parma. He moved to Bell City in 1970 where he owned and operated Scott's Grocery. He also was a retired farmer.

On May 21, 1945, he was married to Louise Davis in Piggott, Ark., and she preceded him in death on Nov. 24, 1996.

He is survived by one son, Michael Scott of Bell City; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.

Interment will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.
