Orville Floyd Swinger, a resident of Williamsville formerly of Kennett, was born Aug. 24, 1926, at Parma and died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at John J. Pershing VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff at the age of 77.

He was a self-employed farmer.

On May 12, 1944, he was married to Opal Willine Brown, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include one son, Randy Swinger of Williamsville; two sisters, Mary Davis and Nancy Ross, both of Kennett; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at Ruegg Funeral Home in Williamsville.
