Jeremy B. Merritt, son of Frank B. Merritt and Linda Fay Palmer Merritt, was born Feb. 25, 1975, at Washington, D.C., and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at the age of 28.

Besides his parents, Frank and Linda Merritt of Bernie, other survivors include one daughter, Savannah Paige Merritt of Bernie; one brother, Robert Dean Merritt of Beckley, W.Va.; one sister, Joyce Ann Weaver of Springfield; his maternal grandmother, Ann Palmer of Bernie; and his paternal grandmother, Jean Merritt of Mims, Fla.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at 10 a.m. in the Bernie Cemetery with Rev. Ron Dunavin officiating.
