Michael Ray Jennings, son of Charlie E. Jennings and the late Jewel Sandusty Tryon, was born on April 27, 1954, at Dexter and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, at the age of 49.

Mr. Jennings was a farmer and active member of Powe Gospel Church of Powe serving as a board member. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Armbruster on Oct. 5, 1993, at Piggott. Mrs. Jennings survives of the home in Bernie.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael Ray Jennings II of St. Louis, and Alexander Eugene Jennings of Bernie; one step-son, Derek Fuemmeler of Harvil; one daughter, Ashley Evelyn Jennings of Bernie; his father, Charlie and Doris Jennings of Dexter; one brother, Randy Eugene Jennings of Bernie; one sister, Connie Sue Jennings of Tucson, Ariz.; one half-sister, Darla McIver of Barnhart; and one grandchild, Makayla Jennings of Doniphan.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ivan Mekan officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sycamore Cemetery of rural Dexter.
