Mrs. Eskew lived all of her life in the Dexter area. She attended the Sweet Prospect General Baptist Church and was a Gold Star Mother.
On Jan. 16, 1932, she was married to Curtis L. Eskew in Bloomfield. He preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1996.
Surviving are two sons: Dale Jean Eskew of Dexter and Larry Dwayne Eskew of Jackson; four daughters: Helen Delois Gales and Vera Pauline Griffey of Dexter, Reta Mardell De Priest of Kennett and JoAnn Pettibone of Overland; eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Emory Martin; one sister: Wanda Ross; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, with the Rev. Dean Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
