Frances L. Sobba, 90, of Hatton, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003. She was born on Dec. 21, 1912, in Advance, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Lula (Raver) Rainey. On Jan. 8, 1934, she was united in marriage to William Sobba, and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1999.

She is survived by one brother, Lowell Rainey of Athens, Ga.

Her parents, six brothers, and three sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Sobba was a homemaker. She ws a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in Fulton.

Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton.

Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Fulton with Father Greg Oligschlaeger officiating.

Interment followed in the Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
