Agnes Walls

Agnes Walls, the daughter of the late John and Sarah Gobble Gouldman, was born in Puxico on Nov. 6, 1919, and died at the Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at the age of 84.

Mrs. Walls had lived most of her life in Parma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Risco.

On Nov. 17, 1934, she was married to Walter Walls in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 1983.

Mrs. Walls is survived by one son, Bob Walls of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Betty Swindle of Doniphan; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Parker of Flint, Mich., and Mary Bunkston of Niles, Mich.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bill Walls; and one daughter, Bonna Walls.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Parma with the Rev. Gene Lancaster of Risco officiating.

Interment will follow in the Park Cemetery in Malden with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of all arrangements.
