Cloetta "Corky" Razer, the daughter of the late Herb and Leora Brewington Oliver, was born in Canalou on July 29, 1937, and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at the age of 66.

Mrs. Razer had lived most of her life in the Essex area. She was a Baptist and had worked at Purolator for 19 years.

On Sept. 3, 1957, she was married to Bob Razer in Essex.

Surviving are her husband, Bob Razer of Essex; three sons, Terry Meeker of Texas, Robert Dale Razer of Alabama, and Ricky Razer of Iowa; one daughter, Belinda Ann Razer of Essex; and four grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Bob Holland of Bloomfield officiating.

Interment followed in the Essex Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
